Harwich Voter Information Committee
Recruiting New Members
The Voter Information Committee plays a key role in educating and informing Harwich residents on important town activities and voter issues. The committee provides a forum for discussion of town issues both in open meetings and on Channel 18. The work the Voter Information Committee has done over the past several years has been well received. Feedback to our Committee has been positive and encouraging.
The Voter Information Committee is actively recruiting new members. Presently there are three members serving, Joanne Rys, Chairman, Peg Rose, Clerk and Betty Pino. In order to fulfill our commitment to Harwich residents, we are in immediate need of additional members.
The Board of Selectmen annually appoints the members of the committee. Regular meetings are held monthly, currently, on the third Wednesday of the month. We do not meet during the summer unless the need arises.
