Minutes Wednesday, September 16, 2015

 4:00 p.m., Room # 1, Harwich Community Center

Call to Order: 4:05 PM

Attendance: Shanna, Len, Mike,Fran

New Business: None

Old Business: 

Friends of the Harwich Bikeways account. - Len reported he presented Sandy Robinson with copies of receipts for his Rodeo expenditures

and within a month he was reimbursed.

Other projects: Map of Harwich Bike routes. Fran will get copies of the Bike Route Maps. He will ask for the money from the Friends of the Harwich Bikeways account

Application for CPA funds for new bike crossing lights on Queen Ann Road? Shanna distributed copies of the CPC Application draft. We agreed to some modifications and she will submit the application by Oct. 1. Fran will contact Dave Spitz to see what else is needed to present the application to the CPC committee. Mike and Len volunteered to attend the CPC meeting to present our application to the committee.

Other project ideas? Shanna reported that the Chatham Bikeways committee is interested in meeting with our committee to discuss bikeways projects. They have even suggested alternate meeting locations 

Map boxes at bike trail kiosks Bruce supplied three map holder boxes. Fran installed the boxes at the OCRT kiosk at Depot Street, the OCRT kiosk at Rt.124 and the kiosk at the bike trail rotary. Fran reported the map holders need a protective cover as rain damages the maps. He will peruse getting a cover.
