HARWICH CULTURAL COUNCIL

Meeting Minutes- September 17, 2015

The September 17, 2015 meeting was called to order at 4:40 PM.

Members Present- Lynn Schweinshaut, Sharon Mitchell, Debbie  Ferry, Lorrine Bossi, Tina Games, Anne Leete, and Lynne Lavieri, Florence Lofberg, and Rose Ann Clarke.

Lorraine Bossi and Tina Games were welcomed as new members of the Harwich Cultural Council.

Secretary’s Report- Minutes of the August 13, 2015 meeting were reviewed and accepted on motion by Anne Leete and seconded by Rose Ann Clarke.

Treasurer’s Report- The financial report was was accepted on motion by Anne Leete and seconded by Lorraine Bossi.

Community Impact Survey Update- We have received 80 completed surveys to date and will continue to pass out surveys at venues such as the Cranberry Festival and the Newcomers Meeting.

FY 2016 Grant Cycle update- Information will be sent to the schools, Cape Cod Times, local papers and channel 18.

Future Fundraising- Lynn Schweinshaut had e-mailed past people who have traveled with us to survey their thoughts on where they would like travel.  Lorraine Bossi has a travel agent contact that we will approach in addition to Durgan Travel.

FY 2016 grant awards- The committee agreed to have a grant allotment of $12,500.  It was accepted on motion by Ann Leete and seconded by Florence Lofberg.

Dates of future meetings- the committee will be meeting on October 15, October 20 and October 29.
