HARWICH CULTURAL COUNCIL

Meeting Minutes- November 19, 2015

The meeting was called to order at 4:35 PM by Lynn Schweinshaut, chair person.

Members present- Larraine Bossi, Lynne Lavieri, Lynn Schweinshaut, Tina Games, Sharon Mitchell, Florence Lofberg, Anne Leete, and Joan Sacchetti.

Secretary’s Report- Minutes of the October 20, 2015 meeting were accepted on motion by Anne Leete and seconded by Larrine Bossi.

Financial Report-  The October 26, 2015 financial report was reviewed and  accepted on motion by Lynne Lavieri and seconded by Sharon Mitchell.

Fundraising update-  A fundraising trip will be planned for the fall of 2016.  We are reviewing options from Durgin travel and also from Judy Bell, a travel agent that Larraine Bossi met with.  A final decision will be made in 2016.  Tina Games has a list of other fundraising ideas that we will be discussing at our next meeting.

Community needs survey update- We have received approximately 80 surveys and a committee will compile them.

Final review of 2016 grant applications- The grant applications were reviewed and with a motion by Tina Games and seconded by Florence Lofberg the committee voted to fund awards for 37 FY2016 grant applications.
