Members Present: Jack Brown (Chair); Dana DeCosta; Laurie Gillespie Lee; Mark Ameres; Edward McManus

I. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Mr. Brown.

 

II. Topics for Discussion

 

A.Discuss the 3-10-18 Joint BoD/FinCom FY19 Budget Presentations and vote as presented or vote amendments No discussion

 

B.Meet with CPC Rep(s) and discuss CPC-reco’d Articles (48-58).

 

Cindy Williams presented the reason for the additional funding request. Harwich has been selected to participate in a cultural compact pilot project. The Chamber will be marketing and promoting 2 cultural districts. There will be a continuation of yearly visitor info centers, the annual magazine and ongoing partnership with the Town.

 

The committee notes the extraordinary efforts made by the Chamber on behalf od the town and lauds the increased revenue generation.

 

C.Discuss Warrant Articles and vote as presented or vote amendments.

 

  • On a motion by DeCosta seconded by Ameres we move to accept and adopt Article 60: Promote the Town of Harwich at $30,000.
