Is there a charge to use the boat ramps in Harwich?
Yes, only during the seasonal period of the Friday of Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. A seasonal boat ramp permit can be purchased for $100 that provides access to all of the salt water ramps and Long Pond. A daily $10 ramp permit can be purchased for the use of Saquatucket boat ramp and Allen Harbor boat ramp, and a $15 daily ramp permit can be purchased for Long Pond. A resident Beach or Transfer Station sticker will allow the use of the Round Cove boat ramp. There is no charge for the use of the Herring River boat ramp.
