Combined Board of Selectmen, WWC and Saq Dev Com Meeting MINUTES

 

WWC Members Present:  Matt Hart, Tom Thermistos, Mort Terry, Roger Peterson.

 

WWC Members Absent:  Dan Hall, Dan Casey, Joe Johnston, Steve Root

 

Others  for WWC Present:  Bill Neiser, Deputy Harbormaster; John Rendon, Harbormaster; BOS; and members of the Saquatucket Harbor Development Committee.

New Business:  Tim Sawyer, an architect from Brown, Lindquist, Fenuccio & Raber Architects Inc., and John Rendon gave a detailed presentation of the latest architectural plans for the Saquatucket Landside Project followed by a question and answer session. Questions from the Board of Selectmen and audience members were answered by John Rendon, Matt Hart, Tim Sawyer and the Town Administrator. John Rendon requested that the Board of Selectmen consent to moving forward with the plan as presented. The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously that the Saquatucket Development Committee and Waterways Committee continue forward with the plan as presented.
