The Harwich Community Center is proud to offer an extensive and affordable fitness facility to help the people of Harwich stay healthy and happy. All Harwich residents (and non-resident taxpayers) over the age of 16 are eligible to become Weight Room members, and all levels of skill are welcomed.


6:00AM to 8:00PM

9:00AM to 4:00PM

10:00AM to 3:00PM

*Hours subject to change due to holidays and town events

Sign up at the Front Desk Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

To join: Bring proof of residence (or rental agreement). Fill out emergency data card and hold harmless waiver. Applicants ages 16-18 must have permission slip signed by a legal guardian.  Submit payment (cash, check, or money order). Have photo taken and receive membership ID card.


  • Yearly (July 1st - June 30th fiscal year) - $150
  • Seasonal (July 1st - September 30th) - $100
  • Winter Special (January 1st - July 1st) - $100
  • Summer Special (May 30th - Aug 30th) - $80
  • Monthly - $50
  • Weekly - $35
  • Daily - $10

The weight room has resistance machines, treadmills, recumbent and upright exercise bicycles, stair stepper, elliptical trainers, the cage, a smith machine, and numerous free weights.

Koko Smartrainer

The Weight Room also features the Koko Smartrainer. This machine is an all-in-one fitness machine that offers customized strength training programs to individuals who are looking for guidance in their fitness regimen, or are just seeking a new challenge. Make the most of your time in the gym by choosing from a variety of multi-week programs which dynamically adapt to your progress and push you to your limit without going too far. Choose from programs such as Weight Loss, Beautiful Bride, Forever Strong, Performance Golf, Born to Run, Quick Fit, Muscle Building, and many more!

8-week / 24 Session Program - Members $39, Non-Members* $59

*$20 Key deposit will be taken at sign-up of non-members -- Refundable upon return of Koko "Key"
