AGENDA

 

On Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 7:00 PM, the Harwich Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing in the Griffin Meeting Room at the Harwich Town Hall, 732 Main Street to hear the following cases. Any member of the public having interest in these applications is invited to attend and provide information and comment relevant to these matters or may submit the same in writing by Monday, March 25, 2019.

 

Case #2019-01 (Continued from 2/27/19)

Jeffrey Merzel has applied for a Special Permit to construct a 3-season porch addition onto a pre-existing, non-conforming single family dwelling. The application is pursuant to the Code of the Town of Harwich, §325 Table 2, Area Regulations as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A §6. The property is located at 12 Lincoln Village Road, Map13, Parcel W1-27 in the RH-1 Zoning District.

 

Case #2019-03

Cheryl Morgan has applied for a Special Permit to remove and replace a rear addition of a pre-existing, non-conforming single family dwelling. The application is pursuant to the Code of the Town of Harwich, §325 Table 2, Area Regulations as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A §6. The property is located at 67 Parallel Street, Map 40, Parcel W2 in the RM Zoning District.

 

Case #2019-04

Thomas and Ann Chipman have applied for a Special Permit to build an addition onto a pre-existing, non-conforming single family dwelling. The application is pursuant to the Code of the Town of Harwich, §325 Table 2, Area Regulations, as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A §6. The property is located at 20 Bayberry Lane, Map 24, Parcel K1-5 in the RR Zoning District.

 

Case #2019-05

Richard E. Charron, through his agent, Katelyn Manfredo of SV Design has applied for a Special Permit to build an addition onto a pre-existing, non-conforming single family dwelling. The application is pursuant to the Code of the Town of Harwich, §325 Table 2, Area Regulations as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A §6. The property is located at 168 John Joseph Road, Map 72, Parcel T3 in the RR Zoning District.

 

Case #2019-06

Joan A. Rosazza and Claire M. Wilcox, through their agent, Edward Shea of Shea Custom Carpentry have applied for a Special Permit to build a front entry-way addition onto a pre-existing, non-conforming dwelling. The application is pursuant to the Code of the Town of Harwich, §325 Table 2, Area Regulations as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A §6. The property is located at 12 Helena Ave, Map 14, Parcel A16-2 in the RM Zoning District.

 

Case #2019-07

John E. Twomey and Susan J. Twomey, Trustees of the John E. Twomey Revocable Trust, through their agent Attorney William Crowell have applied for a Special Permit to demolish and replace a pre-existing, non-conforming single family dwelling. The application is pursuant to the Code of the Town of Harwich, §325-54 (a)(5) as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A §6. The property is located at 22 Central Street, Map 6B, Parcel L92 in the RM Zoning District.

 

Case #2019-08

Lower Cape House LLC, through its agent, Attorney William Crowell has applied for a Special Permit to convert 1 bay of a pre-existing, non-conforming detached residential garage into a bedroom with 1 bath. The application is pursuant to the Code of the Town of Harwich, §325 Table 2, Area Regulations as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A §6. The property is located at 12 Monomoy Rd, Map K1, Parcel A1 in the RH1 Zoning District.

 

 

Case #2019-09

Stephen C. Appe and Karen C. Appe, through their agent, Attorney William Crowell have applied for a Special Permit to add to, alter and renovate a pre-existing, non-conforming single family dwelling. The application is pursuant to the Code of the Town of Harwich, §325 Table 2, Area Regulations as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A §6. The property is located at 43 Wah Wah Taysee Road, Map 6, Parcel B1-5 in the RH1 Zoning District.

 

 

In other business, the Board will address the following:

* Approval of minutes from the February 27, 2019 meeting.

* New Business per the Board’s discretion.
