*As required by Open Meeting Law, you are hereby informed the that the Town will be video and audio taping this public meeting. In addition, anyone in the audience who plans to video or audio tape this meeting must notify the Chairperson prior to the start of the meeting.

The Public is always invited to Finance Committee meetings, and will be given the opportunity to speak if requested 

 I: Call FinCom members to Order

il. New business:

 

Joint BoS/FinCom meeting to comply with Harwich Home Rule Charter, Chapter 7, Section 2-3,: In accordance with Harwich Home Rule Charter, Chapter 7, Section 2-3, each board, commission and committee shall meet annually with the Board of Selectmen for the purpose of discussing accomplishments and future plans.

 

FinCom is scheduled to meet with the Selectmen on Tuesday, November 12,  2019.

 

The Chairman of your committee is requested to be in attendance on the above date.  The Vice Chair may attend in the absence of the Chairman. 

Please be prepared to discuss the following:

 

  • Member attendance/absences – No Issues
  • Are all your members sworn in? – No Isues
  • Is your member’s State Ethics testing up to date? No.  3 are not in Compliance
  • Are you posting Agendas and Minutes?- Yes.

Accomplishments & Future Plan: Met with Articles’ sponsors to understand and held FinCom and take positions on All articles

Provide added members education on FinCom processes and responsibilities. Newest members are learning duties and ins and outs.

Iii: Have been operating with six members vs the Charter saying 9 are allowed.
