One Artist’s Experience of the Creative Process
Artist Anne Flash offers an encore studio talk on Saturday July 20, 3:00 PM -4:00 PM.
Flash received her MFA in painting from Hunter College in New York City and her BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. She taught at Trinity College in Hartford for four years, before moving to Cape Cod fifteen years ago. Flash has been teaching drawing at Cape Cod Community College for the past nine years, and was Artist-in-Residence at the college in the fall of 2008. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in New York, Boston, Connecticut, and Provincetown. Her work is in private and corporate collections throughout New England. She believes, as an artist and as a teacher, that drawing exists at the core of all art, and is therefore an essential practice for artists.
