"Winter Blues" Fundamentals of Floral Design

This is a 4-part Floral Design series of workshops at the Harwich Cultural Center.

• Part 1: Students cover the seven fundamentals of floral design and the tools and mechanics associated with designing.The first hour will be geared toward education and different techniques and mechanics, the second hour will be when you will be creating your design with what you just learned.
• Part 2 : The first hour will be educational on different styles of design the second hour you will use the techniques learned in session 1 and use them to create a more contemporary design of you choosing.
• Part 3 : Learning to work with permanent flowers / silk in a wreath style.
• Part 4: Valentines special workshop where student will learn to create a cute puppy out of carnations and he/she will be in a basket of flowers.
