Changes to the Harwich Harbor Management Plan.
Last Monday the Harwich Board of Selectmen voted to allow that a Liquor License be awarded to the new Dock Side Grill within the Saquatucket Marina Complex. As a result, that new provision needs to be included within the Harwich Harbor Management Plan.
Mr. Topher Mira: I would like to request a charter permit or a waiver to obtain a charter permit, in order to operate a small sailing charter off a mooring in Wychmere harbor. I have a 25-foot Cape Dory Sailboat, a mooring in Wychmere Harbor and I would like to use the Town of Harwich dock in Wychmere in order to load and unload passengers. To my knowledge there are no sailing charters offered in the town of Harwich, and I think it is important to have sailing charters offered to preserve the sailing heritage of the town.
