The Harwich Affordable Housing Trust (AHT) is currently in the process of developing its next Trust Action Plan. This plan will include a summary of housing needs, an assessment of community priorities, a Trust mission statement, development strategies, and a five-year budget to accomplish goals and priorities. The AHT Board of Trustees will use this plan as a framework and guide for allocating Trust funds.
We are hard at work with our consultants at JM Goldson to develop this plan. As a part of this process, we a hosting a public forum for Harwich community members to learn more and share their ideas.
We invite you to join us on Tuesday, June 27th from 6:30–8:30 PM at the Harwich Community Center (100 Oak Street). During the forum, the Town’s project consultants will share their initial findings on Harwich’s housing needs, provide opportunities to further explore the topic of affordable housing, and offer space for community members to share their ideas. Attendees will be invited to participate in a variety of activities during the forum.
