The Bottle Project was presented at the first session of the Town of Harwich Summer Program on July 9, 2019. What a success!
Over 50 school age students had a wonderful morning designing and painting, single use water bottles, turning them into art. They shared their inspirations and placed the decorated over 100 bottles into a grid, creating the canvas of this work of art for the community. The Bottle Project is supported by a grant from the Harwich Cultural Council, the Town of Harwich Cultural Center and Baskins Ace Hardware of Harwich Port.
The next Bottle Project session will be held on August 15, 2019 at the Community Center for Summer Program participants only. If your students would like to participate in creating The Bottle Project, they must be enrolled in Week 1 of Session 4 of The Town of Harwich Summer Program.
