  1. CALL TO ORDER

  3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - July 10, 2017 Meeting
  4. RECOGNIZE GUEST(s):  John Stewart, Housing Authority

 

  1. ACTIVITIES TRACKING LIST
  1. 93/97 MAIN STREET, W. HARWICH, HECH/HABITAT JOINT VENTURE - Habitat proposed building six (6) homes on back half of property. ZBA approved Application on 8/15/17.

 

  1. OLD BUSINESS
  1. PINE OAKS VILLAGE – sent letter asking for clarification of affordability status. Received reply.
  2. Total of (9) units counted as affordable, they participated in Rehab Program/DHCD  with limited (15) year deed restrictions, one (l) expired in 2015 with remaining eight (8) to expire 2017-2019, prepare and send letter to BOS. 
  3. Rewrite HHC Charge/Mission statement, BOS liaison Julie Kavanagh to help with writing the charge. To be discussed among Committee members.

 

  1. NEW BUSINESS
  1. Discussion of the Housing Coordinator job and summit recommendations to BOS (Aly Sabatino)
  2. Discussion on the formation of an Affordable Housing Trust and summit recommendations to BOS (Aly Sabatino)
  3. Update on Jeff Locantore’s Disabled Housing Project
  4. Review and discuss Summary of Housing Strategies as outlined in the Harwich Housing Production Plan
  5. Discussion and recommendation to BOS for the former Harwich Recreation Building, currently occupied by Cape Cod Theater Co.
  6. Discussion and recommendation to BOS for Albro House and W. Harwich School.
  7. CPC Funding request by John Stewart of the Harwich Housing Authority
