Captains' Row Watercolor Exhibit
Address
Captains' Row, West Harwich Watercolor Exhibit at the Harwich Cultural Center
The local supporters of the historic Captains' Row seek to maintain the aesthetic quality along Main Street, West Harwich via proper zoning and thus preserve the charm, scale, and beauty of this 19th-century sea captains' village. The group recently commissioned a well-respected preservation architect from the College of Charleston to visit and provide some visualizations of the beloved little “village-within-a-village.” After quite some time and effort, 12 stunning watercolors have been assembled and mounted for an exhibition at the Harwich Cultural Center. The exhibit is open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month of August.
A public reception is scheduled on August, 27 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
