HARWICH COUNCIL ON AGING BOARD MEETING AGENDA

  1. Welcome– Adrienne Johnson

 

  1.       Minutes Review (approve August Minutes)

 

  1.       Treasurer’s Report

 

  1.        Introduction of the Friends of the Council on Aging Board Chairman, Jack Brown,       & any Friends of the Council on Aging members present for an update on The Friends of the Harwich Council on Aging

 

  1.       COA Directors Report

 

  • August 5th, Volunteer Cookout Wrap Up. Thank you notes to both Fire & Police Deputies as well as Bruce Young at Harwich Fire Association written & sent.

 

  • Monday, September 19, 2016 6:30 p.m. at the Harwich Board of Selectmen’s Meeting is the Harwich Council on Aging Annual presentation to the Board-by Adrienne Johnson. Please make sure Barbara-Anne knows if you will be present by the end of our meeting today for this evening.

 

  • Housing Summit Update-Mon. October 3rd  2016 10 a.m.-12 noon-dates for meetings. What Board Members will be present to help that day? Richard Waystack will be Master of Ceremonies, we also need registration table check in volunteers and volunteers to take questions off the tables to give to the speakers and monitor the room as well.

 

  • Monday, October 17th, 2016, Town of Harwich, Staff Only Flu Clinic at the Harwich Community Center. Time TBA. Volunteers all needed to make it run smoothly. Can you Volunteer? See Barbara-Anne after the meeting to sign up.

 

  • 2 Focus Groups on Monday, October 24th 2016 at 10am and 5:30 pm-need volunteers to assist this day especially at the evening one when I won’t have COA Staff present to assist.
