Director’s Report: Barbara-Anne Foley reported the Aging Mastery class went well and the improved test scores reflected this.
Barbara-Anne stated the MCOA Conference had many interesting seminars such as Teleconferencing. They taught how to use teleconferencing with at home members to follow classes or seminars at home. Also one called Life Re-imagined from AARP for those members 60+ years old. This helps one decide what goals you want to accomplish with all your remaining years.
The Senior Dining programs were advertised on the Ocean 104.7 radio station to inform more people of this wonderful service.
Barbara-Anne discussed with the Board members the strong need for a per diem employee to cover the Chef’s vacation and sick days like the per diem nurses. The program has to shut down whenever the Chef is out.
The FY17 budget was reviewed and discussed.
Meeting adjourned at 11:00
The next meeting will be held in Room #1 at the Community Center at 9:30 on December 2, 2015
