BOARD OF ASSESSORS

The Town of Harwich Board of Assessor has completed its revaluation for Fiscal Year 2021.  These proposed values are pending Preliminary Certification by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.  This public disclosure is part of the Revaluation and Re-Certification of values that is required by statute every five years.

Values were calculated at “Full and Fair Cash Value” using sales data between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019.  The valuation date for Fiscal Year 2021 is January 1, 2020. The typical value change was an increase of approximately 3%.  However, certain commercial areas increased more.

The public disclosure period of proposed values will be available for review commencing November 12, 2020 until November 18, 2020.
