City and Town Notification for Roadway Work

MassDOT will be conducting work in your community in the near future.  The following project information is being forwarded to you for distribution to affect City/Town Departments.

Project Location (City/Town):   SANDWICH to EASTHAM Route 6 (Mid-Cape Highway)

Estimated Start Date of Work:  Sepember 6, 2017 (after Labor Day)

Project Type:  Fabrication and Installation of Ground Mounted Guide and Traffic Signs along a Section of Route 6 (Mid-Cape Highway).

Hours of Operation (Day/Night):  Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm            Work on Rt 6 requiring lane closure Sunday to Thursday 10:00 pm to 5:00 am No lane closure allowed any time on Fridays

Description of Traffic Management:  One lane shall remain active at all times

Estimated Duration of Work:  Sepember 6,  2017 to  September 29, 2018

Additional Information: 

Physical start of work shall be September 2017 (after Labor Day)
