2. Presentation by, and Discussion with, Seth Pickering, Southeast Regional Coordinator, Green Communities Division, Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, and Charleen Greenhalgh, Harwich Assistant Town Administrator.

              Green Communities five criteria:

              1) As-of-right siting for renewable/alternative energy facilities

            2) Expedited application and permitting process for AoR facilities

            3) Energy use baseline & plan to reduce use by 20% in five years (Note Peregrine Report)

            4) Purchase only energy efficient vehicles

            5) Minimize life cycle energy costs for new construction

                 (What are BBRS 8th Edition Energy Code and 9th Edition State Building Code?)
